Spam at the Whitney

Named among six must-see museum shows in New York, The Whitney's Jaune Quick-to-See Smith: Memory Map is now in its final weeks. The exhibition is the first New York retrospective of the artist, who has pushed the boundaries of Indigenous art since the 1970s, and features Spam – a work on loan from the UAMA permanent collection (pictured at left in the image below). Memory Map is on view through August 13.
