Museum Guidelines

Help us protect the art and keep galleries safe and accessible for all visitors by following a few general guidelines during your visit:

• Allow a safe distance -- about two feet -- between you and all artworks. Avoid leaning or sitting on walls and pedestals. 
• Please store all water bottles, large backpacks, food, drinks, and umbrellas in a locker or cubby, located in the museum lobby.
• Photography is encouraged. Please ensure your camera's flash is off when taking pictures in the galleries, and tag us on Facebook and Instagram if you would like to share your visit!
• Smartphones, tablets, and computers are welcome in the galleries, allowing you to use our mobile guide.
• You are invited to sketch and take notes in the galleries with a pencil; no pens please! Clipboards and pencils are available at the front desk.
• Portable stools are available upstairs and downstairs. Please take care when carrying them and maintain a safe distance from walls and art.
• Finally, please enjoy the art without touching it.
