Members Morning: Human Ingenuity
Saturday
9:00 am – 10:00 am
Current Closure
UAMA is currently closed for a museum improvement project. See you when we reopen on January 17!
What are the relationships between humans and technology? Is progress always good?
Join Assistant Curator Willa Ahlschwede for a virtual viewing of artworks from the UAMA collection that invite us to think critically about innovation, technology and human ingenuity.
Inspired by a long-standing partnership with the course "Innovation and You" taught by Dr. Matt Mars, Professor and Interim Head in Public and Applied Humanities at U of A, we will explore how artists from the 1600s to today envision innovation and its impact on our lives and communities. Register below to join us!
Members Morning is a series where the UAMA opens one hour early to Museum Members on the first Saturday of every month and offers exclusive programming. Not yet a UAMA Member? Learn about the benefits.
