We believe in the power of art to spark essential conversations and enhance research at our university and in our community.
Please note that this event has already taken place.
Art Sprouts is a fun art and play event for kids ages 3-5 years and their families!
This fall, the theme is music! We are thrilled to collaborate with U of A music education students, who will plan and lead music-themed activities at UAMA with supervising faculty and museum staff. They will be joined by educators from the Tucson Symphony Orchestra.
Participants can explore music and art, move their bodies, read a story, and more. We'll also take inspiration from the current exhibition Paul Valadez: Selections from the Great Mexican-American Songbook.
This program is free for up to three children and one adult when you register. Each additional adult is $8, and each additional child is $2.
With questions about access or to request any disability-related accommodations at this event — such as ASL interpreting, closed-captioning, wheelchair access, or electronic text, etc. — please contact Visitor & Member Services Lead Myriam Sandoval, 520-626-2087.
