Art-Making PopUp for U of A Students
Election Day is stressful. Find some calm with Mapping Q at UAMA!
Do you find yourself anxiously refreshing poll results or doom scrolling through election feeds? Does the mere mention of the election fill you with dread? If so, it might be time for a much-needed break.
Studies show that making art can reduce anxiety, so we'll be in the UAMA courtyard with a popup art activity. Make a clay monster to represent your anxieties and fears, then paint it, comfort it, smush it...it's up to you!
No art experience needed, and all art supplies will be provided.
With questions about access or to request any disability-related accommodations at this event — such as ASL interpreting, closed-captioning, wheelchair access, or electronic text, etc. — please contact Visitor & Member Services Lead Myriam Sandoval, 520-626-2087.
