Use the Collection

The UAMA is a repository of primary resources that can be used for research in all areas. We will make every effort to accommodate requests for collections access made by faculty, students, and researchers both on‐ and off‐campus.

Rights and Reproductions

The publication or commercial use of any image from the UAMA’s collection requires express written consent from the Museum. The copyright of some objects in the collection may be owned by an entity other than the Museum; it is the responsibility of the user to obtain written consent from the copyright owner.

To receive an application for reproduction permission, as well as a schedule of fees, please contact Sarah Grabner, Registrar, at sgrabner@arizona.edu.

Research Requests

Researchers, community members, and groups (including classes) can request to view objects from the art and archives collections that are not currently on view to the public, as well as museum records such as past exhibition and object files. Please allow at least three weeks to coordinate and confirm your request. We will do our best to meet requests but may be limited by staff availability, object condition, or other factors.
