Albin Brunovsky, The Quarrelsome Ship, 1992, Lithograph, Museum purchase with funds provided by the Edward J. Gallagher, Jr. Memorial Fund

Join us for an exclusive look into UAMA's collection of Slovak artwork.

Officially known as the Slovak Republic, this country has a rich and fraught history. Assistant Curator Violet Rose Arma and Curatorial Intern Lexie Shaw will help viewers to contextualize the artworks on view, sharing insights related to the artists and important historical events throughout the 20th century. The viewing will include works by Robert Brun, Dusan Kallay, Mirina Richterova and Daniel Fischer, among others.

We look forward to sharing this unique curation of Slovak prints. Come mingle with fellow members over coffee, pastries and eight centuries of art. Please register below to join us!
