The University of Arizona Museum of Art (UAMA) relies on individuals, foundations and corporate entities to support our outstanding exhibitions, education programs and other initiatives for a vibrant growing arts community in Southern Arizona. With your help, we will continue to provide the critical services and education to our students and community. Gifts can support many areas of UAMA, including exhibitions, educational programs, acquisitions, archives, public art and enhancement of the Museum’s general operations.
To make a gift, please visit our website or mail your contribution to PO Box 210002, Tucson, AZ 85721. To make a donation over the phone, please contact us at (520) 621-5434 or firstname.lastname@example.org. All checks should be made out to UAMA/UAF.
Derive financial benefits through tax deductible gifts to UAMA. Outright gifts of cash can be directed for immediate benefit to the Museum’s greatest needs. Securities, likewise, hold possible tax deductions. Gifts may be designated to one of the appropriate funds established for the UAMA to fulfill the donor’s intent for Museum support.
Each year, patrons of UAMA remember us in their estate plans. Bequests come in all sizes and in many forms, UAMA is deeply grateful for each and every one. Your bequest expresses your lasting commitment to the museum and contributes to the growth and ongoing success of the institution. When you provide for the UAMA in your estate plan, please let us know so that we can thank you now and recognize your intentions.
Create an enduring legacy. Endowment funds provide a perpetual stream of income to support the Museum’s priorities and serve to help fulfill the Museum’s ongoing vision and mission for future generations to have access to our collections. Donors may name a space in the Museum; establish named curatorial positions, exhibitions or internships, or support acquisitions or general operations.
We deeply appreciate the generosity of our public both now and in the past in helping to grow the UAMA’s world-class collection. However, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the UAMA is unable to accept donations of artwork or archives until further notice.
The art collection has grown over the years primarily through the generosity of art lovers who have entrusted their own artwork to the Museum for the benefit of posterity. If you would like to make a gift of art, please contact the Director or the Curator. All gifts of artwork must be formally approved by the Museum’s acquisitions committee.
Consider making a gift in honor of an individual, or of anniversaries, birthdays, accomplishments and special events. Making a gift in tribute is a long lasting way to honor the memory of a loved one. It is UAMA’s privilege to receive gifts in memory of friends or family to carry on our work in their names.
