This exhibition is accompanied by related events that collectively explore artistic practice, resistance, and social transformation in relation to transnational migration and human rights politics. Anchored in the Sonoran Desert borderlands and drawing on practices from different regions of the US, Mexico, and Central America, In Transit/En tránsito will bring together artists, activists, and academics for a series of cross-disciplinary conversations and collaborations.
