Garden and Harvest Tour | Tucson Village Farm

November 15, 2021 from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m.

In conjunction with the The Art of Food, we invite you to celebrate the rich and delicious food heritage of Tucson – the first UNESCO City of Gastronomy in the U.S. – by taking an intimate look at a few organizations that help to cultivate it.

Celebrate fall by enjoying a haywagon tour and appetizers made with farm-fresh produce at another of our city’s agricultural gems – Tucson Village Farm!

Tucson Village Farm is a working urban farm built by and for the youth of our community committed to practicing integrated farming techniques and stewardship of our land. A program of the Pima County Cooperative Extension and the University of Arizona, its seed-to-table approach reconnects young people to a healthy food system, teaches them how to grow and prepare fresh food, and empowers them to make healthy life choices.

Garden-goers will meet at TVF.  Comfortable attire and walking shoes are highly encouraged. Payment will be taken on site the day of the tour. Click HERE for more details and to register!
