Fall Community Day at UAMA

Saturday, October 22, 2022 | 12:00-4:00 PM

If you haven’t had a chance to see Woman-Ochre – our stolen, recovered, restored and now returned painting – Fall Community Day is a great time! Enjoy pay-what-you-wish admission, artmaking activities, the latest exhibitions, and a day at UAMA with friends and family.

Kindness is at the heart of the incredible Woman-Ochre story – its donation to the Museum in memory of a beloved son, its miraculous recovery by three honest people who asked for nothing in return, and its painstaking restoration by the Getty at no cost to the UAMA. Join us in celebrating kindness by bringing non-perishable food items for the UA Campus Pantry, and learn from Ben’s Bells about their “Be Kind” mission.

Outspokin’ and Bookish Zine Bike with be here too, and DJ Shorty will supply the jams!

Current exhibitions include Restored: The Return of Woman-Ochre Abstract Perspectives in Mid-Century Art and Mapping Q: Still Here / Still Queer.
