In November 1985, Willem de Kooning’s “Woman-Ochre” was stolen from the University of Arizona Museum of Art. Thanks to three heroes in Silver City, NM, this priceless painting was recovered and returned to us in 2017.

Now, the UAMA Leadership Council is delighted to invite you to an exclusive, pre-conservation viewing of “Woman-Ochre” and to become a part of our amazing story.

Cocktails and heavy hors d’oeuvres will be served. Programming will include musical entertainment by the Fred Fox Jazz Ensemble and performances by the UA School of Dance.

Tickets are $95.00 for Museum members; $125.00 for non-members. Non-members who purchase tickets by March 8 will receive a one-year Museum membership. (Tax deductibility is $70.00 on a $95.00 ticket; $100.00 on a $125.00 ticket.)

A special thanks to our sponsors: Café à la C’Art, Downtown Kitchen + Cocktails and The Carriage House, Feast, and Hacienda del Sol
