This exhibition present a wide variety of prints produced by artists employed under the Works Projects Administration (WPA) and the Federal Art Project (FAP). Donated to the UA Museum of Art by the WPA in 1943, these prints mark a special period in American history when the mass production of art was legitimized as a form of skilled labor worthy of national attention as well as government funding.
