Children’s Museum Tucson
Join us at the Children’s Museum Tucson’s Art After Dark program inviting families downtown for an ever-changing lineup of interactive arts experiences.
The UAMA is partnering this year to provide an activity combining art and technology into one hands-on activity for kids and adults. Visitors will design and build a drawbot that will create a drawing. Through the activity, they will experiment with art, design and the tinker process. Each visitor will be provided with several materials (tape, markers, a plastic cup, small offset motor (1.5 volts), and battery pack). With the challenge to design and build a robot that draws, they will work through the hands-on project, with UAMA staff helping them along the way. Each visitor will leave with their very own Drawing Machine and the drawing!
Each child who attends Art After Dark will will receive a free pass for a return visit to the Children’s Museum Tucson.
