ICYMI: "The Artist and The Collector" Conversation
Riding in Style!
With a generous donation from supporters Alan Willenbrock and Dr. Peggy Jones to wrap the museum golf-cart, UAMA was able to collaborate with a School of Art graphic design class taught by professor Kelly Leslie.
Leslie's class worked closely with UAMA staff Olivia Miller and Chris Weir to produce designs for the golf-cart, with additional help from Clay Birchfield of Busy Bee Signs who installed the wrap and guided students on template and file design.
The winning proposal, by Mariana Corella was inspired by Georgia O'Keeffe's Red Canna, a work in the UAMA permanent collection.
