*Two dates from the same sample of bark.

The roof for Structure 1 (smaller structure, excavated by S. Duwe and M. Proue) was probably built between cal AD 688-754 or cal AD 758-889.

The floor post and Juniper bark mat for Structure 2 (large structure, excavated by C. Roos) were probably constructed between ca. AD 400-500. I do not know the persistence of bark on Junipers, so I take the most recent date for the Juniper bark mat ( AA78629) the limiting date. The overlap of the more recent dates (the mat and the post; AA78628 and AA78629) in the early cal AD 400s is probably significant.
