UAMA Art Ambassadors

Purpose

The University of Arizona  Museum of Art Ambassadors (UAMAA) are an integral part of the Museum, serving as the face of the museum,  greeting guests in the lobby, and running the Museum store.

Members of the UAMA Art Ambassadors accomplish this by:

  • acquiring a thorough knowledge of the museum;
  • ensuring visitors have appropriate tickets for entering Museum;
  • orienting guests to Museum layout, distributing Museum maps, exhibit guides and membership brochures and answering various questions;
  • promoting an interest and support of the museum by encouraging guests to become members;
  • helping guests plan their visit as visitor flow permits;
  • running the Museum store ;discussing art work with a diverse range of individuals, and committing to  a two shift minimum per month.

  • become directly involved with a museum that holds the most significant collection of artwork of any public institution in the State of Arizona
