Month of the Military Child Family Art Series: Creative Explorations for Hope 

Session Dates:  March 26, April 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 (Participation in all 6 sessions NOT required.)

Session Times:  9:00am – 12:00pm
Who Can Attend?  Military Youth Ages 6– 12 + MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AT LEASE ONE ADULT PARENT/GUARDIAN
Eligibility:  Parent/guardian must be currently serving Military Service Member or Veteran (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps – Active Duty, National Guard, Reserves)
Location:  The University of Arizona Museum of Art
Fee:  Free*  (*Donations Received by UACE:MO and contributions from The UA Museum of Art cover the $20/family fee and enable this program to be offered free of charge to military & veteran connected families.)

March 26 and April 2: Come and explore the exhibit, Fires of Change in a guided tour and then create work in the art studio in response to what you see and learn.

 

April 9 and April 16:  Come and explore the exhibit, Modern Myth in a guided tour and then create art work about legends and heroes in the art studio.

 

April 23 and April 30: Come and explore the exhibit, ArtWorks: A Community Exhibit in a guided tour and then create artwork in response to what you see and learn.
