This exhibition is part of the UAMA Collaborative Research Center, a project that invites scholars of diverse academic backgrounds and affiliations to curate small exhibitions at the Museum.
Native American Perspectives of the 20th Century was curated by Samantha Bankston, whose work at the UAMA as a business intern and curatorial intern spans four years. Sam recently graduated with a BA in English and minors in both Spanish and American Indian Studies. Her research on these works of art adds dimension to the information the Museum previously had on its Native American art collection.
