Throughout centuries, maps have served as tools of victory over reality. Featuring functional maps in addition to artworks that incorporate cartographic vocabulary, this exhibition explores themes of navigation, accuracy, presumed reality, and politics.
Please join us Saturday, January 27 at 1:00 pm for Exploring Mercury: The Iron Planet with Robert G. Strom, Professor Emeritus in the Department of Planetary Sciences and the Lunar Planetary Laboratory. Strom’s maps of Mercury on are view in the exhibition.
